Retired Members

The total number of Retired Members and dependants receiving benefit entitlements from the North Yorkshire Pension Fund is approximately 11,500. Retired members are paid a lump sum, regular monthly pension or both. Those in receipt of a regular monthly pension are advised of their payment on 2 or 3 occasions a year and in particularly at times of change of payment in excess of £1. The North Yorkshire County Council payroll section is contracted to make these payments on behalf of the NYPF.  Any queries specifically about pension payment should therefore be directed to the Payroll Manager.

Should any retired member/dependent currently in receipt of cheque payment s wish to change to a BACS arrangement, they should contact the Payroll Manager.
